How to Find US

The Parish

The Parish is found next to the University of Canterbury, at the heart of the Riccarton subdivision of Christchurch, New Zealand.

The Brothers of St. John have served this parish community since 2010, in the Church of St. Teresa, constructed in 1968. It is with great passion that we work with the parishioners in view of the growth of everyone, and we thereby place ourselves at the service of this neighborhood.

We are gathered around a common vision:

“It is in living of the Sacraments, united in the celebration of the Eucharist: but also in the building up of families and by getting involved in groups that we can help each person to spiritually grow.”
