“To build community and journey alongside young people in relationship with Jesus Christ.”

St.Teresa’s Youth Group is open to years 6-13 and is on every Tuesday (during the school term) from 6-8pm. We begin in the church at 6pm, with adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and move to the parish hall for games, a talk, discussion, prayer, social time and food.

We cover topics such as love, prayer, friendship, forgiveness, the Holy Spirit, Saints, relationships and so much more! Our youth group is a safe space for young people to learn more about Jesus and their faith. A place for them to grow their relationship with the Father, explore different ways of prayer and asks questions.

We offer the sacrament of reconciliation, praise and worship, pray for them, pray with them and encourage them in their own faith journey. We offer leadership positions and training for students year 11+, an opportunity for them to become youth leaders and learn about Christian leadership.

We hold youth masses once a term where the youth group members do the music, read the readings and prayers of the faithful. We also go on group outings, to the movies, bowling, laser strike and more. We get involved with the Catholic Youth Team and go to their events such as sports day and night, Antioch Camp (year 11-13), Revolution Camp (year 8 – 10) and many more.
